Introduction
The Bryanston City Improvement District (CID) is an initiative aimed at improving the public environment, safety, and overall management of the Bryanston area. The CID is a property owner driven structure where stakeholders work together to fund and manage supplementary services that support municipal service delivery.
About the Bryanston Improvement District
Bryanston is a well established mixed use suburb in northern Johannesburg, containing corporate offices, retail activity and residential estates. Due to its strong commercial activity and location along major transport routes, the area experiences pressure on infrastructure, safety, and public space management. The CID provides a structured approach to addressing these challenges through coordinated service delivery and stakeholder participation.
